It's hard to beat the stylishness, comfort and protection of Sidi Blade Riding Shoes. They offer many of the rugged features of motorcycle racing boots: a heel cup made of rigid molded plastic; an ankle ball pad; a replaceable toe slider; a polymer toe shift pad; and a streamlined, but still hard-gripping racing sole. But the low cut -- just above the ankle -- and the notch at the upper back afford a high degree of foot flexion. The upper exterior consists of sturdy, black Lorica synthetic leather, with soft mesh at the instep. This combination not only enhances comfort and flexibility, but also makes the Blade Riding Shoes amazingly light. They're also cool, in both senses of the word. Air intake scoops at the sides provide excellent ventilation, while the perforated nylon lining will wick sweat away. You'll also appreciate the easy Velcro closure system.
