Gyde Supply, Powered by Gerbing

Gyde heated gear, powered by Gerbing, incorporates the latest technologically advanced products with quality materials and patented manufacturing process to offer a line of the best heated clothing brands on the market. Gyde Supply is the new name of the former Gerbing heated clothing company, and they carry on the legacy of heated motorcycle gear into the new age. Gerbing began in 1975 when a man named Gordon Gerbing decided there had to be a better way to ride a motorcycle in frigid temperatures. His vision and ideas for heated thermovelocity gear were born, and the company has never looked back. Gyde starts by sewing their Microwire onto a special pad that creates heat; the pads are then sewn into the piece of clothing and surrounded by a microfiber insulation that is made to hold heat. Currently, the company uses a waterproof nanowire material that is sewn into their clothing and incorporates plugs and connections for a better look while providing optimal heat in cold riding conditions.

Gyde Heated Gear Technology

Every year Gerbing brings new ideas to life and creates superior products that combine leading technologies with patented materials and designs to form clothing that performs for the wearer. Gyde Supply as Gerbing is now called, makes a line of products including Gyde heated gloves and Gyde Heated Jackets that give motorcycle riders a way to transport heat with them when they are riding for the highest level of comfort on a motorcycle. Whether you ride every day or just take a trip or two on the weekends, there is something for everyone in the new collection of Gyde Gear. The 12-Volt Microwire Gyde Heated Gloves include the Hero, G4 Men's, Vanguard, and G4 Women's models. The Gyde EX Pro Pants and Jacket also use the same electric heating system. The 7-Volt Microwire battery pack is used in the Featherlight, S4, and Three Mitt Gloves as well as the Men's Torrid Shell Jacket and Vest, the Men and Women's Thermite Fleece Jackets, and the Men and Women's Calor Filled and Hybrid Jackets and Vests. Gerbing has brought so much to the table that they were featured as one of the Wall Street Journal's "Best Items to Bring to the Superbowl". Michael Strahan from the Live with Kelly and Michael morning show was seen wearing Gerbing heated gear during a segment in one of the 2014 shows in blustery New York City. Monday Night Football even featured some of the products on their show because of the comfort and warmth they offered game commentators.
